FCC Covered List: foreign-produced uncrewed aircraft systems and critical components, and DJI and Autel equipment (Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act; FY2025 NDAA § 1709)

Adds all uncrewed aircraft systems and their critical components produced in foreign countries (flight controllers, navigation, data links, ground control stations, sensors and cameras, batteries, motors), and all DJI and Autel communications and video surveillance equipment and software, to the Covered List, so they cannot receive new FCC equipment authorization. Previously authorized models remain usable. The Departments of Defense and Homeland Security may exempt specific systems; a later order closes a component loophole for devices containing logic-bearing parts from listed entities.
